New beginnings and exciting opportunities: You get what you give!

We’re pleased to welcome the newest Juniper bird to the company – Emily Kavanagh, our Marketing Assistant. In her first blog, Emily shares her first experiences as a member of the team and the importance of giving your all to new opportunities:

As the newest member of the team, I am currently in the position of experiencing a new beginning. I’m starting my placement year at The Juniper Company as part of my Events Management studies at Bournemouth University.

Starting a new beginning can sometimes be a daunting task, full of nerves and doubt of the unknown. However, luckily for me, I was welcomed into such a warm and friendly working environment that I found the experience more exciting than nerving. It made me realise that the more you give the more you receive. In my case, being welcomed into a company where you feel comfortable and valued from the moment you walk in, made me feel like I wanted to give my best back to the company and the team around me.

I am extremely excited to see what this year at Juniper has in store for me and look forward to sharing my progress with you.

It’s important to remember to make the most of the opportunities that come your way - you never know what they could lead to!
