Making a positive impact

This month we have been doing a lot of reflection as part of our 20th year. Following our birthday celebrations in March, we received some lovely messages and comments from past participants, and we’ve been focusing on how we can learn from their feedback. As a people-centered business, we know how important it is to request, listen to and act upon observations from those we work with, to ensure every interaction we have with our clients brings us closer to delivering what they need in a way that remains both relevant and engaging. We like to inject some fun now and again too!

Recently, we launched a new Personal Development Programme with two cohorts at one of our long-standing clients. At the Welcome event, the Programme Sponsor shared how he still acts upon the learnings and principles that he acquired during a similar programme with us, over 16 years ago. This was an inspiring comment for participants and the Juniper team alike, and is an example of exactly what we strive to create through our programmes; to motivate positive change in people that is purpose-directed, people-centred and performance-driven (the 3 P’s, the bedrock of The Juniper Company’s way). Meaningful and life-lasting transformation requires constant reflection, planning and the courage to try out new skills and tools to create opportunities for improvement in both our professional and personal lives.

We are proud to have been working with many of our clients for several years, which reaps benefits for all. Often being considered part of their team, we get to know them – strengths, weaknesses, challenges, and objectives - collaborating to work out how they can reach their goals. We then adapt our programmes to meet their needs and deliver the best possible fit with their ethos and objectives.

We are also grateful to those who keep returning to Juniper to introduce the next wave of team members to our learning approach. We love meeting new talent, and the next generation of leaders. If you have ever been “Junipered”, you’ll know that we encourage our participants to be curious; to ask lots of questions, request feedback, and be open to change – just as we try to.

Juniper is all about longevity and the continuation of each participant’s journey, which is why we try and stay connected with our alumni, so that we can continue to support their growth.

One thing is clear, we all have an opportunity every day of our lives to have a positive impact on those around us; this is a gift and the more self-aware we are, the better life experience we will have.
